Lindsay Gippe of Virginia Beach, Va. is a member of the 2017 James Madison University varsity field hockey team.

Wearing No. 21 and playing defender, Gippe enters her third season with the Dukes.

JMU opens the 2017 season ranked No. 19 in the Penn Monto/NFHCA Coaches Poll. The Dukes were picked to finish second in the 2017 Colonial Athletic Association Preseason Coaches Poll after making three consecutive appearances in the Colonial Athletic Association title game (2014-16).
